Avgenicos Brothers is the joint creative project led by Michael and Tom Avgenicos. The pair are proven performers, composers and band leaders; their long-awaited debut album Treading Water showcases their unique, lifelong musical dialogue.
Tuckerbox (co-led with Melbourne trombonist Josh Bennier) explores the earthy textures available in a chord-less ensemble within the realm of contemporary jazz and improvisation. Their debut album Dasch draws inspiration from the rich history of chord-less ensembles in Australian jazz.
